Robert Lahey

Chief Financial Officer

Robert Lahey oversees all aspects of the company’s financial strategy, corporate finance, investor relations, and corporate development.

Lahey brings nearly 20 years of clean energy sector experience spanning corporate finance, investor relations, strategic partnerships, and investment banking. Over his career, he has successfully executed numerous equity, convertible debt, derivative, and strategic financing transactions totaling well over $1 billion across both public and private entities.

Most recently, Lahey served as Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Development at Enovix Corporation, where he played a critical role in several transformative capital-raising initiatives. Prior to Enovix, he was the inaugural Head of Investor Relations at Maxeon Solar Technologies, where he established broad research coverage by major institutional firms following its spin-off.

Earlier in his career, Lahey held senior leadership roles at GAF Energy and SunPower, where he focused on scaling new business units and cultivating strategic partnerships. He began his career in investment banking and equity research at Ardour Capital, advising clean energy companies on corporate finance and strategic transactions.

Lahey holds a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The George Washington University.

Todd Nguyen

SVP of Systems Commercialization

Todd Nguyen is the Senior Vice President of Systems Commercialization at FIXX Energy, responsible for commercial strategy, deployment models, customer value propositions, and market positioning for integrated BESS infrastructure solutions.

Prior to joining FIXX Energy, Todd led energy storage sales and solution development across the utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), and residential markets for Jinko ESS North America. With more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, he has held progressive commercial roles at Enel X, Enphase Energy, Satcon Technology Corporation, and ATS Automation, driving go-to-market strategy, OEM partnerships, channel development, and market expansion initiatives.

Todd holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Nigel Cockroft

Chief Commercial Officer

As Chief Commercial Officer, Nigel Cockroft leads FIXX’s commercial growth, sales, and market expansion. Before joining FIXX Energy, he was the General Manager for the US and Canada for Jinko Solar and was responsible for all sales, business operations, logistics, finance, legal and technical services operations for the Solar PV and BESS business. During his 13 year tenure he oversaw the sales and deployment of more than 30GW of solar PV panels and the establishment of Jinko as a leading trust supplier to almost all major US developers and power producers. Nigel also helped establish Jinko as a leading US solar panel manufacturer with its 600-employee manufacturing operation in Jacksonville, Florida that has operated continuously for more than seven years. Prior to Jinko Nigel’s experience in renewables included heading US sales for solar system equipment at GCL US and serving as a Senior Sales Director at Hanwha SolarOne.

For a decade before joining the renewables industry Nigel, through Product Management then executive management roles, helped build Silicon Valley startup company Gemfire Corporation to become a successful supplier of state-of-the-art fiber-optic system control products to twelve of the world’s fifteen largest telecom companies.

Nigel’s early technical career with more than 40 technical publications and patents in materials and laser technology was based on a PhD in Physics from the University of Canterbury, a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin (Madison) and 7 years as a technical staff scientist and project manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Jennifer Cooper

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer at FIXX Energy, Jennifer Cooper oversees manufacturing operations, improve efficiency, and manage the supply chain supporting the company’s growth.

Most recently, Jennifer served as Head of Global Supply Chain for Enfinity Global, where she led sourcing, logistics, and operations across six countries supporting more than 37 GW of solar, wind, and energy storage projects. Prior to that, as Vice President of Global Supply Chain at AES Corporation, she directed approximately $9 billion in annual procurement activity across 14 countries, supporting more than 55 GW of renewable energy projects while transforming the supply chain organization into a strategic commercial function. Jennifer also spent more than a decade at NextEra Energy, where she negotiated more than $4 billion in strategic agreements, launched new businesses, and led acquisitions and integrations that supported significant renewable energy growth.

Jennifer began her career in manufacturing and engineering, holding roles with AMD, STMicroelectronics, Pratt & Whitney, and Lockheed Martin. She holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Emory University, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University, and dual Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Trinity University. Jennifer lives in Florida and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and running.

Solar and energy storage veterans Jennifer Cooper and Nigel Cockroft join FIXX to scale domestic LFP battery cell manufacturing and commercial growth

Smyrna, Tennessee, June 16, 2026—FIXX Energy, an American-owned and operated energy storage company purpose-built to strengthen the nation’s domestic battery supply chain, today announced the appointment of Jennifer Cooper as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Nigel Cockroft as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Cooper and Cockroft join an established executive C-suite at FIXX, which includes Founder and Chairman Brett Conrad, Chief Executive Officer Jeff Juger, and Vice-Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer Surya Gunasekara. Together, this leadership team brings decades of experience across manufacturing, energy storage, supply chains, and commercialization to support FIXX’s objective of building a resilient domestic battery supply chain.

A chemical engineer, she brings more than 20 years of executive experience in the energy and advanced technology sectors. Most recently, Cooper served as Head of Global Supply Chain at Enfinity Global, where she led supply chain operations across six countries. Previously, as VP of Global Supply Chain at AES Corporation, she directed $9 billion in annual procurement and led a Solar Consortium to onshore manufacturing in the U.S. under the Inflation Reduction Act. Earlier in her career, Cooper spent over a decade at NextEra Energy, where she played an integral role in the company’s expansion with her work spanning operations, business development, and M&A.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Nigel Cockroft will lead FIXX’s commercial growth, sales, and market expansion. He brings extensive experience in clean energy deployment, having served as General Manager for the U.S. and Canada at JinkoSolar. During his 13-year tenure, he oversaw the sales and deployment of more than 30GW of solar panels and helped establish Jinko’s 600-employee manufacturing operation in Jacksonville, Florida. His background also includes leadership roles at GCL Solar and Hanwha SolarOne, as well as a decade in executive management positions at a leading fiber optic telecom equipment supplier. Cockroft holds a PhD in Physics and previously spent seven years as a technical staff scientist and project manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

FIXX Energy Names Key Leadership Appointments to

Drive American Domestic Energy Storage Manufacturing

SMYRNA, Tenn., May 5, 2026 — FIXX Energy, an American energy storage company purpose-built to strengthen the nation’s domestic battery supply chain, today announced members of its executive leadership team. FIXX operates America’s first LFP Energy Storage System (ESS) cell manufacturing facility in Smyrna, Tennessee, and is building the industrial infrastructure the U.S. needs, with the team, technology, and manufacturing capacity to deliver at scale.

Jeff Juger, Chief Executive Officer, leads FIXX Energy’s strategy and growth, as the company builds domestic battery manufacturing capacity in the U.S. He brings more than a decade of executive leadership across the U.S. solar and energy storage markets. He joins from Jinko, where he spent eleven years, most recently serving as U.S. Deputy General Manager of JinkoSolar and Managing Director of JinkoESS, leading its North American energy storage business.

Brett Conrad, Founder and Chairman of FIXX Energy, provides strategic direction and investment leadership. He is also the founder and managing partner of Longboard Capital Advisors, a Utah-based investment firm he established in 2006, which has invested in emerging sectors including clean technology. He previously served as President of Lululemon Athletica USA.

Surya Gunasekara, Vice-Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer, leads corporate strategy and policy engagement, as FIXX Energy aligns its growth with evolving U.S. energy and industrial policy. He brings more than 15 years of policy experience, including senior roles at the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Ethan Meredith steps in as General Counsel, bringing more than a decade of experience across federal government service and high-growth technology companies. He joins from 24M Technologies, where he built the company’s first in-house legal and compliance function.

Graham Laver joins as SVP of Corporate Development, leading corporate growth, capital strategy, and investor engagement. He brings experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and business development across the technology and energy transition sectors, most recently at Angi and previously at Montminy & Co., where he advised clients in renewables and battery materials.

Additional leadership appointments are expected as the company continues to grow.

Graham Laver

SVP, Corporate Development

Graham Laver drives corporate growth, acquisition strategy, and investor engagement for Fixx Energy as SVP, Corporate Development & Investor Relations. He brings significant M&A, capital raising, and business development experience across the technology and energy transition sectors.

At Montminy & Co., Graham advised renewables, battery materials, and technology clients on M&A, growth equity, and debt financing transactions. At Longboard Capital, he sourced and executed investments in clean technology and energy infrastructure. Most recently at Angi, Graham helped scale the leading home services marketplace through the integration of the legacy Angie’s List, HomeAdvisor, and Handy platforms.

Graham holds an Economics degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with General Distinction. He lives in Salt Lake City and is an avid trail runner and backcountry skier.

Ethan Meredith

General Counsel

Ethan Meredith is the General Counsel of Fixx Energy, where he leads the company’s legal and compliance function. He brings more than a decade of legal experience spanning federal government service and high-growth technology companies, most recently serving as Director of Compliance & Corporate Counsel at 24M Technologies, where he built and scaled the company’s first in-house legal function and advised on complex commercial, regulatory, and cross-border matters. Prior to 24M, Ethan served as Policy Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce, advising on national security, supply chain, and trade issues. He began his legal career clerking for Chief Judge Wendelin I. Lipp of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. Ethan holds a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Tennessee.

MJ Shiao

SVP, Strategic Initiatives

MJ Shiao drives cross-functional strategic execution as SVP, Strategic Initiatives at Fixx Energy. Before joining Fixx Energy, he served as VP, Supply Chain and Manufacturing at the American Clean Power Association, where he shaped industry policy and programs enabling resilient clean energy supply chains and the growth of domestic manufacturing.

MJ brings 20 years of clean energy experience spanning U.S. solar manufacturing buildout for a global solar technology company, global market intelligence leadership at Greentech Media/Wood Mackenzie, distributed and community solar business development at Arcadia and NRTC, and solar and energy storage system design at Solar Design Associates.

He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Delaware and is a National Truman Scholar. A believer in clean energy’s transformative power, MJ has designed and maintained off-grid solar systems in rural Thailand and India. He lives in rural Virginia and is an avid cyclist and Cleveland sports fan.

Surya Gunasekara

Vice-Chairman & Chief Strategy Officer

Surya Gunasekara drives strategic vision and policy leadership as Vice-Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer at Fixx Energy. He shapes high-impact initiatives that advance resilient energy solutions, innovative financing, and regulatory frameworks supporting the company’s growth in clean energy and related sectors.

Before joining Fixx Energy, Surya founded Section VII Capital, a boutique energy and environmental investment and advisory firm that helps portfolio companies—from startups to global public companies—navigate Capitol Hill and complex policy landscapes.

Surya brings over 15 years of senior experience in energy policy, tax and trade issues, legislative strategy, and government affairs. His background includes senior positions at a global solar manufacturer, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, and as Chief of Staff and Tax Counsel to a senior member of House Ways and Means Committee. Early in his legal career, Surya served as Managing Director for Taxes at Airlines for America, Counsel for Tax & Trade at the American Petroleum Institute, and as Assistant Counsel at the Department of War focusing on energy commodities.

He holds a J.D. cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, a Master’s in Natural Resource and Energy Policy from the University of Denver, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Mississippi.

A passionate advocate for pragmatic, America-first energy and environmental policies that promote innovation, security, and economic growth, Surya lives with his wife and three children in Oxford, Mississippi.

Brett Conrad

Chairman

Brett Conrad is an American entrepreneur, investor, and business executive with a diverse background spanning consumer brands, venture investing, and energy operational leadership.

He serves as Chairman of Fixx Energy LLC and is the founder and managing partner of Longboard Capital Advisors, LLC, a Utah-based investment firm he established in 2006. The firm focuses on innovative and disruptive consumer-oriented companies, particularly those in technology and experiences that enhance customer lives.

Conrad draws from his own entrepreneurial journey, having founded companies in action sports (including Device Manufacturing Corporation, a snowboard bindings maker acquired by Ride Snowboard Co.), consulting, and technology. He previously served as President of Lululemon Athletica USA (2002–2005) and has held board and advisory roles, including directorships and involvement with nonprofits like imagine1day, Inc., which supports education and development in Ethiopia.

He holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is based in the St. George/Ivins, Utah area, where he enjoys aviation (piloting his Cirrus aircraft across the American West), mountain biking, swimming, and studying markets and technological innovation.

Jeff Juger

CEO

Jeff Juger leads Fixx Energy as Chief Executive Officer, driving the company’s strategy and growth as it builds the next generation of American energy storage manufacturing and infrastructure. Before joining Fixx Energy, he spent 11 years at JinkoSolar U.S., where he served as Deputy General Manager and helped grow the company into one of the leading solar module suppliers in the U.S. and Canada, while spearheading high-stakes initiatives spanning joint ventures, U.S. manufacturing, new business incubation, and complex policy and regulatory matters requiring decisive leadership in rapidly evolving environments. During his tenure, Jeff also served as Managing Director of Jinko ESS, building and leading Jinko’s North American energy storage business with full P&L responsibility.

Prior to JinkoSolar, Jeff served as Director of Marketing & Strategy at Qcells, where he guided brand strategy and market positioning during a pivotal period of growth in the U.S. solar industry. Earlier in his career, he negotiated shipbuilding and surface systems contracts for the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C.

Jeff has served on the boards of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Florida Solar Energy Industries Association (FlaSEIA), the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC®), and the Yale School of Management. He is a recipient of the Yale Alumni Association Leadership Award, FlaSEIA Rising Star Award, and Jinko Global Outstanding Manager Award. Jeff graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management. Originally from Cheshire, Connecticut, Jeff now lives in Campbell, California. Outside of work, he is active in his church community, enjoys ocean fishing, and loves spending time with his family.
